Fancy some lunch?

None of my shots of a live televised community viewing of yesterday's Presidential Inauguration turned out. So instead, here's where many people went for lunch after - the former home of another U.S. President, Woodrow Wilson, reborn as a popular lunch canteen, Prospect House.

Also, many thanks to Jackie/Jake at Junk Boat Travels for passing on a blog award - I fear I could never choose from so many lovely bloggers to pass on the award, but thank you for thinking of me!

You've just reminded me that I need to try and catch up on the ceremony... Pity I can't go to lunch here afterwards!

That looks like in fine place for lunch, no matter how one's morning went. Thanks for the photo.

Sorry about the Inauguration shots Lulu (none of my shots of the ceremony - watching from home - turned out either!)... but what a pretty shot of Prospect House you captured here. lovely light and ambiance...

What a great back up, Lulu. Imagine having lunch in a place like that with such history. Brilliant. (Looks like many of us have had a bummer of a day photo-wise. I took a load of photos of horses in the snow Monday and they all looked rubbish. Snow too bright. It is part of the learning process. No worries :)

Yes, so frustrating when photo-shoots go bust - I'm still on a steep learning curve:)

What a wonderful place for a post-inauguration lunch. Your access to U.S. history makes me green with envy! :-)
