The pranksters have been busy

There was a Princeton versus Yale football game this weekend. Blue is Yale's color and everyone woke to a Yale-blue Scudder Plaza pool for game day. (I've shown those Ai Weiwei zodiac statues before.)

Lol, it looks like a lagoon. With spinach tagliatelle on the sculpture.

Cool blue..did it work, did Yale win? I remember the Zodiac heads Lulu.

cieldequimper - I love it! Though I'm suddenly yearning for spinach tagiatelle (funny how that happens:)

a.s.m. - thank you! I still use the same Canon point-and-shoot, but maybe I'm finally better and holding it steady:) For the turtle and fog photo, however, I tried Mr. L's newer Panasonic Lumix - it's got a stronger zoom!

Mo - if I hadn't known about the prank, I would've been creeped out by the sudden blue!:)

PerthDailyPhoto - haha, alas the Yale pre-game antics didn't quite work, Princeton won;-)

Should it not be that colour then?

I bet that pool is a target for all sorts of pranks. Nice to have a topical photo in the mix. Do I see a little bit of snow on the steps?? Looks like sandbags are keeping the sculptures in place too.

Chrissy - usually the water is the same dullish white/tan/beige as the ground tiles, so this was a bit of change (colorful one though).

LOLfromPasa - you're so right about the pool...and great eye! There was still snow on the ground, and those bags on the sculptures were from the hurricane (amusingly, they were bags of animal feed) - not the most high tech solution, but the sculptures did stay put in the winds!:)

I remember your other photo. What a difference! Students are great. So much energy! Too bad for them, it was wasted energy!

Ha! Yale sure did make their presence known!

How imaginative to use animal feed bags. I would have loved being in the room when that decision was made :).

There's nothing better than a smooth water surface for the perfect reflection photo.
