November sun

Enjoying the November sun outside Hoagie Haven, a greasy food dive. They have a sandwich aptly named Heart Stop (here's a review).

Una buena sensación la que trasmite esta fotografía de tranquilidad y buena conversación a la hora del almuerzo.

So good to take advantage of those last sunny days before winter sets in hey Lulu.. This spot reminds me so much of a place we used to go to before basketball games called Fast Eddies, open 24/7, similar type of menu..fantastic!!(been there a few times lately, still good!!)

Nothing quite like a bright sunny day before winter finally sets in.

Places like that are just the place to get a good meal, too...

There's a spot in our Little Italy, a shop that's been there forty years. They make similar sandwiches at the deli counter on big buns, and in the morning ready made sandwiches at the counter, a great variety like steak, chicken, italian sausage, omelette, and so on. The sandwiches and pastas are routinely gone by one thirty in the afternoon.

this picture is gorgeous, love it! now on to the food....the phat lady and heart stop sound gross! i like a good italian sub, or cheesesteak, but pass on those over the top ones, blah! we had some good subs in philly! the bread is amazing!

a.s.m. - thanks you! It was indeed lunch and a jolly crowd usually gathers at that time:) (Thank you also for the information on your pictures and abstracts - I love your captures and how they convey your corner of the world!)

PerthDailyPhoto - how fun you've a place like this around! Fast Eddie's sounds great - there's something about going to a game that fits so well with food like this:) It really is the last days of autumn...

Paul - I'm hoping to enjoy it as long as possible, though winter is already creeping in:)

Adele - thanks! I suppose it's a prerequisite for every college town to have a greasy dive, haha!

William - that Little Italy spot sounds delicious! I also love that it's been around for 40 years, a real old-timer, in sandwich shop years:)

Tanya - thanks! Haha, I could never bring myself to order those things either, though some of their less crazy stuff is great for those greasy food cravings!:)

We must take advantage the moments of sunshine at this time of year.

I feel like I am standing right on the pavement with you and those lucky folks. 'How about a coffee?'....ha ha!

The sunshine looks wonderful! Not sure I'd partake of the greasy food though.
