Hunter

Not sure what this bird is called (possibly a juvenile Cooper's hawk?). Catching sight of these hunting birds is a great reminder of the natural world.
(Many apologies, my humble pocket camera couldn't get a clearer shot across the field!)

It's a great shot, my point and shoot wouldn't have done any better. I can't tell you what it is but it's a wonderful sight!

Fantastic! We had a sparrowhawk in our garden yesterday and I froze. Just couldn't move quick enough to photo. Well done...great action shot!

LOLfromPasa -- that is so cool! Wildlife just don't hold still enough sometimes :)
